Prison Service Unlock support for PH

We are delighted and truly grateful for this fantastic day today outside the Mater Hospital when the Mountjoy Prison Staff strained their sinews, hearts and lungs in a static bike marathon to ‘Get Breathless for PH’ and PHA Ireland specifically. They were supported by other volunteers from the Mater Hospital staff, the Lord Mayor of Dublin Paul McAuliffe, Mountjoy Governor Eddie Mullens, Official Dublin GAA stars Philly McMahon & Rory O’ Carroll, Official Donegal GAAl star Paddy McBrearty and TV celebrity Baz Ashmawy among others.

The atmosphere was tremendous but most of all our members will feel a tremendous sense of community, support and sense of understanding as to how this devastating disease impacts their lives. Thank you to all who participated today for their generosity of time, good humour and thoughtfulness.
