PVRi 2026 Dublin Report

From 28th January – 1st February 2026 Ireland hosted its first International PVRI conference. The conference host was our own Professor Seán Gaine, the Director of the National Pulmonary Hypertension Unit (NPHU), Mater Hospital in Ireland & Chair of the PVRI 2026 Scientific Organising Committee with the event providing an opportunity for some of the greatest minds in the field to share innovation and scientific breakthroughs. It was a resounding success with great feedback from all participants. The NPHU was well represented with posters from Dr. Cameron Forward (Research Fellow) , Caitriona Minnock (PH Nurse) and a great talk from Dr. Ciara McCormack regarding the work that is ongoing regarding exercise and PH in Ireland. Dr. McCullagh moderated an interesting session on the Saturday and provided some musical tone to the proceedings, so all in all, it was a NPHU family affair!
